I just bought this set for the Round the County race which happens in November in Puget Sound. We had rain, wind and temps down to the low 40's and I was plenty warm and dry with only thermals underneath. It was a good first test and am confident this gear would work well offshore.Multiple pockets with weatherproof zippers are a plus. A medium fit me at 5'11" and 200 lbs. The overall design and construction seem thorough and well thought out.

Now that I've had the set for a few days, let me add some information not found elsewhere. This is for a size LARGE jacket and pants.
The jacket:
I like the finish. The stitching is straight and neat; between 7-8 stitches per inch using a synthetic thread. The stitching is neatly trimmed.and finished. All zippers are nylon YKK-brand and all have pull tabs on them. The fabric is a nylon-based, layered fabric with a perforated nylon taffeta lining. The sleeves and collar has a 3M retroreflective piping. There are patches of retroreflective plastic material on the sleeves, shoulders, and on top of the hood.
The jacket sleeves are sewn from multiple pieces that allow for the natural bending of the elbows. The lower sleeve has a 1.5" wide Velcro adjustment band. Inside the sleeves are sewn in neoprene-based cuffs that have 1-1/8" wide Velcro tightener. The sleeves seal to the wrist very well.
There are two outer pockets on the jacket; both have zipper closures with pull tabs. There is an inner pocket for a wallet inside the jacket on the left side that measures 8-1/2" high by 7" deep and has a zipper closure. The neck seal on the jacket (when the collar is turned up) measures 4" tall. There is a Velcro patch to seal the neck that measure 2-3/4" wide x 3-3/4" tall. It seals around my neck very well. The collar is lined with a soft, fuzzy (sorry, that's the only word I could think of) material to prevent chafing around the neck. On the back of the collar is a safety yellow cloth hood, made from the same material as the jacket. It has a stripe of retroreflective material 6" long by 1" wide that wraps up over the top of the crown of your head. it has a nylon shock cord tensioner in the brow. It folds up into the back of the collar and is held in by three Velcro tabs.
The front of the jacket has a storm seal that overlaps the zipper by at least 1-1/2" and is sealed down the front with a strip of 3/4" wide Velcro. The seal is amazingly straight, and the fit of the two overlapping pieces is very accurate (there are no bulges or mismatches in how the fabric overlaps). There is a hanging strap sewn into the jacket just below the collar to allow hanging from a hook. There is a white patch to write your name into the jacket on the inside. I also weighed the jacket on my kitchen scale; 2 lbs 8 oz for a size large.
The pants:
Same outer material as the jacket, but with a smooth (non-perforated) nylon taffeta lining. There is a large YKK double ended zipper, with an outer fabric storm flap in the front, though I'm not sure I will ever use the opening from the bottom as there is a inner flap sewn across the front of the pants that prevents one from using that opening for personal "relief." You need to go "over the top" of that flap for that purpose. There are Cordura fabric reinforcements sewn onto the pants' seat and knees. The knee reinforcements appear well placed (I have a 30" in-seam and they hit about in the middle of my knees).
The pants have 1-1/2" elastic suspenders. By keeping them snug, I have no problem with the pants' 31-32" in-seam with my 30" in-seam body. The pants are about right in the seat; not too loose, not too tight, and i practiced getting up and down to see if there was any binding (like getting up and down from the rail, or bending on a headsail). No issues for me. The pant legs had a Velcro adjuster so you can seal the leg around your ankles or boots.
There is a single front pocket on the upper right thigh. It measures 9" tall by 7-1/2" wide. It has a fold-over flap seal at the top that uses a Velcro closure. There is a plastic key holder loop sewn into the top of this pocket. There is a hanging loop on the back of the pants, and a place to write your name inside. The pants weigh 1 lb 15.5 oz.
Bottom line: I am very pleased with the fit, finish, and quality of this Navis foul weather set. I did have my neighbor help me test it; he held the garden hose and sprayed me down while I was wearing the pants and jacket. As expected, no water got through.

Since my 78-years of racing sailboats are ended at now 88-yrs, I opted for this lower priced "foul weather gear" to mostly use on land. Amazing surprise. It is far better designed and made than the "elite" brands I regularly bought for offshore as well as often soaking "one design racing." . Only problem is I brag about my new NAVIS rig and friends want to try it out during our FL rainy season. So it sometimes is not where I keep it. ALL FRIENDS ARE EQUALLY SHOCKED. NAVIS BEATS ELITES HANDS DOWN. (My old "water-tight" boots are next to replace. Must learn if NAVIS makes/sells boots; hope so.)

MUCH better than expected. You get alot of features only found on much higher priced rain gear. Shopped several sporting goods stores and was not pleased at what I found. Took a chance and ordered these and SURPRISE
"Great Rain Gear" for the money. I think they run a little large. I normally wear XL shirt so ordered a XL was to big but the large was much better. They are full cut made to fit over other gear. HAPPY HAPPY

We live in North Carolina so you can go fishing most of the year. Some days are rainy and cold but this suit works well for both the rain and the cold. I bought this for my husbands birthday and he loves it. He couldn't wait to wear it and wears it every chance he gets. This is an A number 1 product.
